As
you know,
WEP Plus
is a proactive measure that will prevent
security breaches in Avaya Wireless LANs by changing the way the
Initialization Vector is determined. This mechanism is implemented
in the card firmware and Access Point firmware, avoiding special
drivers or client side software, and can often be upgraded within
one business day. Please note that all new Chameleon RF
terminals will already have WEP plus installed.
